Living Or Otherwise is a webnovel (a fancy word for fanfiction. This is all fanfiction.) written by ME (mars) set in the Cirque du Freak universe. I am NOT in charge of Cirque du Freak -- that all belongs to the guy who wrote it (my goat Darren Shan 😋😋 check out his website here). So this is like almost totally independent from his whole thing. I'm just borrowing his universe......

This is almost entirely focused on my own original characters. A couple canon characters from Cirque du Freak might pop up here and there but those ones are NOT mine. I'll let you know when they show up. There's also gonna be REAL LIFE characters in here too...... Wait I forgot to do the disclaimer. I'll do it after.

There are certain rules to being a vampire. Over the course of centuries, those rules are followed, broken, misunderstood, and occasionally ignored altogether by a collection of people who probably should never have met. Some are bound by blood, some by love, some by pure circumstance, and others who have the profound misfortune of being in the wrong room at the wrong time. People come and go. Names change. The dead leave things behind. The living make a mess of them. The story carries on.
